McMullen & Wing is looking for enthusiastic new staff to join our expanding team.

ALUMINIUM BOATBUILDERS - CONSTRUCTION PLUS INTERIOR & EXTERIOR FITOUT

We are actively seeking experienced tradespeople looking for a new challenge in commercial and recreational aluminium boat building.

·  SKILL SET: Fabrication, Interior / Exterior Fit-out.

·  LOCATION: Central / East, close to Sylvia Park Mall, Mt Wellington.

Successful Applicants will be joining the team in our new build projects and service / refit programs.

We are after qualified Boat Builders for our current and prospective projects - do you:

  • Hold NZQA Level 4 or equivalent in Aluminium Boat Building, OR a minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience.

  • Have a good understanding of Aluminium boat construction.

  • Are competant in understanding plans and specifications.

  • Work well in a team environment.

  • Are self-motivated and have a high standard of workmanship.

  • Have good communication skills in both spoken adn written English.

  • Currently reside in New Zealand and have NZ citizenship, residency, or a valid NZ work visa.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Aluminium Fabrication.

  • Interior and / or exterior fitout.

  • Apprentice Mentoring.

  • Work with team leader to achieve targets and budgets.

  • Complete tasks in accordance with company procedures.

  • Meet health and safety obligations in the workplace.
