McMullen & Wing is a privately owned company with over 50 years of experience building and refitting vessels for the local and international market.  From the humble beginnings of two young men the company has grown and evolved to have a reputation as one of New Zealand’s leading boat building companies.

The journey has seen the development and growth through many different phases of new build and service with projects encompassing commercial work and ferry boats, award winning superyachts and racing yachts, superyacht tenders, and domestic recreational vessels.

Utilising skills that have earned us an award-winning reputation in the worldwide custom superyacht industry, McMullen & Wing is currently servicing a local client base in the New Zealand Marine Sector.

Our current trend towards commercial boats in composite or metal is a deliberate decision to meet the growing expectation of waterborne commercial activities with highly efficient and custom craft.  The current innovative project through full electrification is leading the drive for the decarbonisation of the passenger Ferry boats.
