McMullen & Wing was selected in a competitive bidding process to build the 17-metre aluminium vessel, Lady Stirling. Operating in New Zealand’s Milford Sound as a passenger ferry for Southern Discoveries, she was designed by Roger Hill Yacht Design and launched in 2017. 

Lady Stirling ferries passengers to Southern Discoveries' unique underwater observatory, located in Fiordland’s Piopiotahi Marine Reserve and the only one of its kind in New Zealand.
