sea ranger - 2018 NEW BUILD
12M dive support vessel
Launched in October 2018, Sea Ranger is the third in this proven series of rugged aluminium multi-purpose vessels designed and built by McMullen & Wing.
This vessel was built for leading Auckland commercial dive operator DiveCo and it plays a key role in their ocean diving work. Sea Ranger serves three divers by umbilical cable, supported by a low pressure dive compressor with backup from a rack of dive bottles. These in turn are filled and refilled from an on-board high pressure dive compressor. Both compressors are powered by an on-board diesel-powered 13kW three-phase 400V 50Hz generator. The generator and both compressors are mounted below decks.
